Breeding, Rearing and Fattening

Los Reartes has large herds of British breeding livestock (Hereford and Aberdeen Angus) and is permanently investing to improve its herds’ genetics in order to achieve the best meat quality and productivity in its fields. Weaned calves are reared in free range with pastures. Those destined to Hilton Quota are raised and fattened with grass forage. On the other side, those animals destined to domestic consumption and to the EU (481 grain fed Quota) that come from our fields in La Pampa Húmeda, are sent to our feedlot in Estancia Los Reartes. In those feedlots are achieved high levels of conversion with fattening diets, which feedstock is produced in the farm itself. GALERIA DE IMAGENES
